In a remarkable display of diplomatic prowess, President Bola Tinubu has successfully wrapped up his official journey to Paris, France. During his visit, he played a prominent role in the esteemed summit on ‘A New Global Financing Pact,’ graciously hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.
President Tinubu’s representation of Nigeria at the summit was highly commendable, as he engaged actively in discussions and held influential sideline meetings with distinguished heads of state, prominent global business leaders, and esteemed chief executives from renowned multilateral and development finance institutions worldwide.
This global platform provided President Tinubu with an exceptional opportunity to advocate for the expansion of the fiscal space, emphasize the significance of economic justice for Africa amidst the accelerating energy transition, and underline the urgent need to address the critical issues of poverty and climate change.
Following his eventful Parisian venture, President Tinubu’s travel plans have taken him to London, United Kingdom, where he will embark on a brief private visit. Originally scheduled to return to Abuja on Saturday, this extension allows him to fulfill personal engagements in the British capital.
The President assures his return to Nigeria in time to partake in the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir festival, ensuring his continued commitment to national affairs.
